'17 THANKSGIVING DINNER SHOW, a seven course SMALL PLATE feast!

Over the years Bob and Lenore had found a new Thanksgiving tradition here at EVOO. Our dinners here reflect the same spirit of the ones they enjoyed growing up; a spirit reflecting the gathering with friends and family for a day centered on food, relaxation and gratitude. And once again we are thankful for the opportunity to invite our guests for a dining experience of good food and wine, light conversation and  convivial company.

Our first thanksgiving menus consisted of seven small plates.  Being nostalgic we are once again presenting a seven course feast for this our 13th Thanksgiving at EVOO.

SEVEN COURSE SMALL PLATES
MENU

ACT ONE
WINE: TBA

1-Black truffle salted seared wild Alaskan U-10 scallop,
black tobiko caviar confetti roasted cauliflower salad in green goddess dressing

2-Hot alder smoked salmon with lemon aioli and crispy fried potatoes

ACT TWO
WINE:

3-Plump ravioli (2) stuffed with braised short rib meat & Calabrian chili peppers,
served with quince gastric and roasted hazelnuts

4-Confit of game preserve duck leg, quenelle cranberry chestnut duck fat tamale,
toasted spiced pepita; roasted Brussel sprout leaves

ACT THREE
WINE:

5-Arancini Taleggio atop wild boar sugo (ragu sauce), chive fresh bitter green salad,
Romano cheese

6-NY Strip steak atop pan-seared foraged mushrooms, swiss chard

FINALE:
COFFEE OR ESPRESSO

7-Maple sweet potato pecan crust tart, whipped crème fraiche;
chocolate orange almond cake; candied orange peel

 

 

 

 

 


Private Events

Any of our shows or class experiences can be designed just for your private party. (*) Imagine  having a room of your friends watching and dining during the Dinner Show or with aprons on and hands into the dough during a private PASTA 101 semi-hands-on class. Private experiences can be arranged by speaking directly with one of our representatives. See our suggestions for a private event page to learn more about the possibilities.

 

(*)Private groups of ten or less may join the regular scheduled classes and are expected to pay the regular price per person, gratuity optional.  Groups of 11 or more constitute a private event, and our pricing for those experiences depends upon the date, number in the party, type of experience, and of course, the menu. A service fee is always applied.
