This is a skill development camp for kids who are already cooking! Just like the adult fundamental class, we start with Baking Basics on day one; day two covers Stocks, Soups and Sauces; day three focuses on Roasting, Frying, and Braising; and day four, students make a meal for their parent/guardian incorporating lessons of the first three days. This is an opportunity to go beyond cookies and french toast. Ideal age: 11 to 14! (younger or older–need permission from chef Bob). Minimum 4 students; maximum 8. Students must enroll for entire course. Imagine 16 hours hands-on instruction! Dates: March 20 – Mar 23, Spring Break in Oregon. Time: 10-2 (11-4 on last day) Tuition: $225 includes lunch and lots of tastings
Any of our shows or class experiences can be designed just for your private party. (*) Imagine having a room of your friends watching and dining during the Dinner Show or with aprons on and hands into the dough during a private PASTA 101 semi-hands-on class. (*)Private groups of ten or less may join the regular scheduled classes and are expected to pay the regular price per person, gratuity optional. Groups of 11 or more constitute a private event, and our pricing for those experiences depends upon the date, number in the party, type of experience, and of course, the menu. A service fee is always applied.
