"PLAYING WITH FIRE" hands-on LUNCH
PLAYING WITH FIRE is the name of a new course which is mostly demonstration with some student-guest participation. It’s all about backyard cooking with fire! The goal is to cover lots of grilling techniques as well as to introduce the wood fired oven that we added in 2016. Of course the class culminates in LUNCH with your hand made pizzas, entrée proteins, side salads & veggies and of course, the first glass of house wine is on us. Finally, dessert is a tarte tartan made in a cast iron pan then finished in the wood fired oven.
As with all our events, “fresh” is our goal. Summer is the most abundant season for fresh, and combined with outdoor cooking you get “the true flavors of summer.”

1-White sauce pesto pizza with choices of arugula, mozzarella, and lamb meatballs
2-Red roasted cherry tomato sauce,
fresh mozzarella, and basil
⇒Baby back pork ribs with B&B “everything” sauce and lots of napkins
⇒Slow grilled garlic power-black pepper rubbed chicken wings
⇒Fresh Romaine salad with house blue cheese dressing
⇒Pasta Primavera Salad
consisting of penne pasta, broccoli, cherry tomatoes, mozzarella, zucchini, snap peas, carrots; Italian red wine garlic parmesan vinaigrette
⇒Cast iron pan Tarte Tartin (Apple & berries)
Whipped crème fraiche
⇒Bob’s choice of table wines (first glass is on us)

Any of our shows or class experiences can be designed just for your private party. (*) Imagine having a room of your friends watching and dining during the Dinner Show or with aprons on and hands into the dough during a private PASTA 101 semi-hands-on class. (*)Private groups of ten or less may join the regular scheduled classes and are expected to pay the regular price per person, gratuity optional. Groups of 11 or more constitute a private event, and our pricing for those experiences depends upon the date, number in the party, type of experience, and of course, the menu. A service fee is always applied.
