Dear Friends of EVOO:

This is something we really wanted to share while you may still buy the August issue of Sunset Magazine. Ever since Lenore was a little girl growing up in Seattle, Sunset Magazine was on their family’s coffee table. When she moved to Maryland, she had a subscription for a few years until Sunset wrote and told her she must take their East coast version of the magazine, Southern Living, which she did!

You can only imagine what a thrill it is for both of us to have EVOO cooking school mentioned as great way to fulfill a travel fantasy. We hope you will pick up a copy before they are all gone!

Dinner at My House for OUR HOUSE!
For the second year, EVOO is partnering with Portland based, OUR HOUSE to provide a dinner fundraiser to support their efforts in the treatment of HIV/AIDS. Our House is a residential care facility providing care for persons with advanced HIV/AIDS since 1988. This year Chefs Bob and Lenore are providing a dining experience based upon farm to table utilizing the abundant autumn harvests. September 28, 2008, 5:00—7:00 PM Limited seating, dinner is $125 per person, paid directly to OUR HOUSE. Call 503-324-0175 for more details or please go to www.ourhouseofportland.org.

Our good fortune continues to Press-on! We are one of the locations on the Oregon Coast that Travel Oregon is filming for its European counterpart stations. Our class that night is already sold out. August 30, 2008, Dinner Party, 6:00—8:30 P M –wish us luck!
