dougniermanCannon Beach is once again sponsoring a FOOD & WINE FESTIVAL WEEKEND-MARCH 12 – 14, and EVOO is participating with two wine dinners featuring the award winning wines of ZERBA CELLARS. You can make reservations for either Fri, Mar 12 or Sat 13 7 PM

ZERBA CELLARS is an Oregon winery based in the WALLA WALLA valley producing approachable, food friendly wines that showcase the fruit without compromising the wine’s structure and overall balance. Chef Bob and wine maker Doug Nierman have collaborated on the menu and wine list for the dinners.

Our town is getting together to help the Children’s Center, the only daycare pre-school center on the North coast, to raise funds to keep their services available to our families. We are calling the weekend SAVOR CANNON BEACH and you can learn more about the many activities by going to: http://www.coastexplorermagazine.com/display.php?id=382 But first note that the first 4 reservations booked on Friday Mar 12 at EVOO will receive one paid ticket (and official wine glass) for the Saturday WINE WALK to support the CB Children’s Center. Drop by the school shop for EVOO’s Gift Bag of Wine Companions to take to maximize your wine walk experience or to enjoy back in your room. What’s in the bag? Fresh French baguette, cheese, Salami and dark chocolate, of course! And we throw in a picnic knife, too! $24.95 (serves 2-3)

THE HALLMARK RESORT is offering a SAVOR weekend package on their beautiful spa rooms including spa discounts at their on-premise Elements By the Sea Spa to use for the weekend. Additionally each Hallmark guest receives two tickets (& official wine glasses) for Saturday’s WINE WALK, a bottle of Oregon wine, the NW Palate Magazine and a gift set of Chef Bob’s spice blends from EVOO Cannon Beach Cooking School.

The first 4 parties to sign for a spot at our table on Friday night will also receive one complementary ticket for the Saturday wine walk.
