Particularly good over sweet folded crepes with a little whipped cream.
Ingredients:
2 cup water
1 cup sugar
2 whole skin on lemons, thinly sliced and seeded
Method:
Heat water and sugar in heavy medium wide bottom pan until sugar dissolves. Add lemon slices and simmer gently 30 minutes. Cool to room temperature before serving. Or hold in refrigerator for later service. Bring up to room temperature for serving.
